Case Study 3: Environmental Planning

PGL assessed the potential environmental impacts of a proposed multi-family and mixed-use development area within Port Moody's Town Centre Plan. The project design was based on a completely integrated design approach in delivering a complete, new community design on an environmentally sensitive site (salmon stream through middle of property, proximity of site to Burrard Inlet). PGL developed an environmental management plan to avoid or mitigate potential impacts and a framework for a community stewardship program. PGL was also integrally involved in interactions with Port Moody staff and council, environmental regulators and community groups.
