Salima is an environmental scientist based in Whitby, ON with a focus on supporting the nuclear energy sector. Salima has been with PGL since 2006, having previously worked in the environmental consulting industry for 10 years. Salima has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree and a post graduate diploma in Resources Engineering.
Salima has over 18 years of experience in environmental consulting related to soil and groundwater contamination. For the past two years she has been PGL’s Client Manager for multiple large construction projects at the Ontario Power Generation Darlington Station. She has effectively collaborated with projects teams from OPG, Black and McDonald, AECON, SNC and E.S. Fox. Project work has included conducting soil and water characterization programs, developing and implementing Soil and Water Management Plans (SWMPs). Preparing and obtaining MOECC Permit To Take Water, Municipal Approvals and Permits (Large Fill).
